Moving Trends: Americans Are Moving West

United Van Lines, a national moving company, released the results of their 2017 United Movers Study. The results indicate that by and large, Americans are moving westward. 

Surprisingly, Vermont ha the highest percentage (68%) of inbound traffic in 2017. However, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, and Washington State were not far behind.

The top inbound states of 2017 were:

Moving Out

The top outbound states for 2017 were:

1. Illinois
2. New Jersey
3. New York
4. Connecticut

6. Massachusetts
7. Ohio
8. Kentucky
9. Utah
10. Wisconsin

Moving Trends To Watch?
