Amazon’s New Headquarters: 20 Finalist Cities

Recently, Amazon unveiled 20 cities that have made it through the first round of cuts to become home to Amazon’s new headquarters, HQ2. 

238 communities submitted proposals to Amazon, showcasing why their city or region would be perfect for Amazon’s new headquarters. The headquarters as outlined by Amazon, will be more than just a satellite office. Rather, the company plans to construct a second headquarters in North America.

Amazon is planning on investing over $5 billion and grow the headquarters to accommodate as many as 50,000 high-paying jobs. The investment in the community is sure to benefit one of these 20 finalist cities.
